Cookies & Tracking

    Cookie Policy

    1. What Cookies We Use

Sapling runs on a small set of cookies and similar browser storage:

    • Strictly necessary: keep the EPC search flow working across steps of your session.
    • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 records aggregated usage such as pages viewed and searches performed, so we can improve the tool.

We do not use advertising or cross-site retargeting cookies.

    2. Why We Use Them

Necessary cookies make the lookup and report flow function. Analytics helps us understand which guides and features are useful, which pages fail people, and where the tool is slow. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to build a marketing profile of you.

    3. Third Parties

Google Analytics is provided by Google. Their processing is governed by Google's own privacy terms. We do not sell cookie data to any third party.

    4. Managing Cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and most browsers offer a private or incognito mode that clears them on exit. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to search, read or export an EPC report. Browser-level "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals are respected where your browser sends them.

    5. Retention

Necessary storage is cleared when your session ends. Analytics identifiers expire automatically according to Google Analytics defaults and are not retained beyond what is needed for trend reporting.

    6. Related Policies

See our Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled and our Terms of Service for use of the tool.
